Hello. My name is Erica Lee Schlaikjer.

Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you will find a collection of my articles, essays, podcasts, photos, graphic designs and blogs. I am particularly interested in covering stories about environmental sustainability, social responsibility, emerging entrepreneurs, indigenous culture, global business in local communities, China, travel, urban mobility, youth culture and minority issues. I can navigate my way around Wordpress, Drupal, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark and Garageband, and I love playing with social media and other fun Web design and content management tools. I spent my childhood overseas, climbing the Great Wall in China, eating chocolate in Switzerland, and witnessing the Handover in Hong Kong. I am fluent in English, advanced conversational in Mandarin and wishing I continued to learn French after high school.

If I could design my own job title for the future, it would be "International Social Entrepreneur and Benevolent Media Creator."
